Blobapaloosa Supply List

•Discarded breakfast bar boxes (5-7)

I’m using snack bar boxes (5.5 in x 5.5 in x 1.75 in) because the size when open is a good size for me, but any food boxes (like cereal boxes) will work too. 5 boxes will give you a 10-page journal. You can also use 140 lb watercolor papers if you don’t want to up-cycle your materials

•Paints: I'm using Anita craft paints in black, white, cream, Coffee brown, Antique Nickel gray or turquoise, Calypso Sky Blue(Folk Art)

•Blending Medium: Liquitex Matt Medium and Liquitex Matte Gel

•Brushes: assortment of small and medium brushes

•Waxed Linen or heavy thread to stitch the book

•Masking tape (avoid shiny feeling tapes, like Scotch brand). Probably the cheaper the better. Widths are optional; I used .75 and 1.5 inch wide tapes.

•Sandpaper (I used 400 lb wet dry) but any type with a grit over 100 should work)

•Large eyed needle

•Awl or something to pierce the pages

•Water Spray Bottle

•Rubber Brayer

•Paper towels and baby wipes

•Pens: Posca Black Signo White Gel Pen, Pitt Pens Brush Tips (gray shades)

•Charcoal pencils in black and white and White Eraser

•Wax Paper and Freezer Paper

•Plastic Paint scraper (optional for getting glue off boxes)

•Heat gun: optional, but speeds up the process

•Sequin waste stencil
