My story

Leslie Wood is a mixed media artist from Lacey’s Spring, Alabama. She has a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, but after working for a few years, decided to go back to college and take art classes. She enrolled with the University of Alabama in Huntsville and studied photography, sculpture and painting. She dabbles between the real and fantasy worlds in her art often beginning in art journals before moving to canvas. She offers art journaling classes on her website and teaches master level art workshops at the Huntsville Museum of Art.
